The town of Dalaman is located between Marmaris and Fethiye on the Mediterranean coast of Turkey. The airport is around 5.5 km south of the town center. Following are few ways through which you can travel to major touristic spots.
Airport Bus
Havatas airport buses are one of the easiest ways to transfer from Dalaman Airport to and from Marmaris. In Marmaris, the buses arrive and depart from the main bus terminal and have stops near Gokova, Koycegiz, Ortaca and Dalaman town. The Havatas bus also runs to and from Fethiye and the trip is around 1 hour long costing only 15TL.
Local Minibuses
Minibuses run frequently along the highway connecting the Dalaman airport and the Dalaman Otogar. The highway connects towns like Ortaca and Dalyan to farther points like Koycegiz and Marmaris to the west and Gocek and Fethiye to the east.
Taxi
The taxi fare from Dalaman airport is very high and they have a monopoly at the airport which makes it impossible for you to get minibusses or minivans from the airport directly. In order to get on the minibus, you will have to travel 6 km between the airport terminal and the town center. If you are planning to hire or rent a taxi, then you could share it with other passengers. There are different fare ranges for different destinations.
Private Rental Car
If you are planning a trip to Bodrum or need transport or a car then there are many private rental companies which offer this solution at a very cheaper rate. Dear sir/madam, I am planning to make a surprise for my girl friend in Marmaris next august. She is already in marmaris. I and 3 friends of mine are going to land in Dalaman Airport. We wonder if you can provide Dalaman airport transfer for us? We are funny and coherent people. You can provide us Dalaman airport taxi or shuttle bus. Everything is okay for us. The first time when I was in Dalaman, I had a service with a different company and it was a completely regret. Last October, I went to visit my girlfriend in Dalaman and I had Dalaman airport private transfer with Tranigo.com. Everthing was excellent. They were holding my name and they were punctual. For our return transfer, we had Dalaman airport taxi with Tranigo.com again and the price was incredible reasonable and the driver was amazing and funny :). Next year, I and my parents are planning to go to Dalaman to meet my g.friend's parents. I will definetely use this company for our Dalaman airport transfer.
