-City Walls
During our tour, we will see the 8-kilometer-long city walls of Constantinople, built by the Byzantine Emperor Theodosius II. for defensive purposes. The walls were breached only twice, the first time by the soldiers of the Fourth Crusade and the second time by Sultan Mehmet II the Conqueror.
-Eyüp Sultan Mosque
Situated in the Eyup district of Istanbul, the Eyup Sultan Mosque is located at the Golden Horn. The mosque dates to the 19th century. Its complexity includes the mausoleum of Abu Ayyub al-Ansari, a close friend of the prophet Mohammad.
